A Review of the New Prius

The 2010 Toyota Prius raises the stakes in the hybrid world. The Prius fuel economy is the biggest feature.The little Toyota is fitted with a 1.The Prius has a new larger engine.5L.Optimization in the torque increases gas mileage and fuel economy due to lower gearing at highway speeds.Horsepower is now up from 110 to 160.
The 2010 Toyota Prius should get right about 50 MPG; which is up 4 MPG from its predecessor. Of course there are those out there who employ some great hypermiling techniques or they use plain old frugal driving habits to net upwards of 75 MPG out of their Prius!A lighter body translates to better fuel economy. Engine noise is toned down thanks to a stiffer chassis.
Engineers have refined the steering by giving the Prius disc brakes all around. You get more for your money with the new Prius such as some standard features. Some cool new items include a rearview camera, LED headlights, Solar Panels on the sunroof, and a Satellite Navigation System.
The battery recharging system has also been upgraded. Safety Standards are excellent on the new Prius. Some features include, seven airbags, as well as a driver knee bag, anti-lock brakes, traction and stability control, tire pressure monitors, radar cruise control, a lane-departure warning system, a rearview camera, a “Safety Connect” system, and Intelligent Parking Assist.

The Prius gets great gas mileage which saves gas, in turn putting less strain on the environment. Not to mention is is a low emissions vehicle. The PRius is an honored car that does a great job of keeping its resale value. So if you cannot afford to buy a brand new 2010 Prius, go ahead and look for a nice used model. You will pay less, get a capable car, and even get a used car warranty if you buy a certified Toyota hybrid.
